These guys know how to beat the competition. Not only is it $50 cheaper but it has more features. Walmart will be the exclusive retailer for these in America.
It matches the Nexus 7 features with a: 7" 1280x800 IPS touchscreen; 1.3GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor; 1GB DDR2, Wifi + bluetooth + NFC; front 2MP webcam with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.
On top of that it has the extra features of: a back 5MP webcam with flash; microUSB 2.0 port, mini HDMI port; and a microSD card slot.
The Nexus 7 has the advantage of 16GB on-board storage vs. the Hisense 8GB plus the Nexus battery is 4,325 mAh vs. the Hisense 4,000 mAh.
You can more then make up for the 8GB less memory with removable 32GB microSD cards which are now around $30.
I would stay away from the Hisense Sero 7 non pro for $99 since it only has a dual core CPU, lower resolution screen and smaller battery.
I think this is the best bang for your buck tablet so if they were available in Canada I would have bought one. So far they haven't announced when availability will be for other countries.
