Microsoft Surface Pro Review

Post by FlyingPenguin »

There are several reviews out today. This one is from the Verge written by a guy who actually bought it (and the RT) and is using them daily.

Generally positive reviews. It accomplishes what MS intended to do: provide a full Windows experience on a tablet:

I got to play with this today at a staples and i was really impressed. But I don't think I can tote a tablet that thick. It's essentially a laptop that is unusually fat in unusual places and kinda awkwardly bulky / top heavy and hard to hold on your lap. Can be had at 824.00 + tax at staples but for that price, you probably want a real keyboard and something in a sexier enclosure unless you got to have a touch screen. Go check it out!

I played with one a month ago & it's a nice tablet, but nothing so incredible that I had to have it. Hated the keyboard thing. Though maybe if I had time I would like it better.
