Nice info. I've pulled enough generic chargers apart to know that they were crap from the get-go. It's amazing how many corners they'll cut to save 3 cents. I had already found out that the cheapies are nothing but trouble. My phone doesn't like them at all (it'll constantly reboot). It's also touchy about generic cables as well. I'd be interested to see how DC-DC chargers do. I know reliability isn't their thing, but since they're already starting with low DC voltage, could they mess it up anyhow?
