I was informed for her to use her phone in the Cayman Island it would be $1.99 per min or $1.69 per if i order a plan avail . to use the phone in Cozumel, Mexico the rate is $2.29 per min. no rate plan avail. both these rates I just quoted are for incoming or out going calls.
to text it will be .50 per min to send and .15 to receive a text.
so are plan is to keep the phone off while she on this trip for 5 days.

and we checked into onboard internet and it get very bad reveiws and said's it costly for what is offer. sounds like a form of dial up after reading the reveiws. it's like 200 or 250 mins of internet for $100 and will take 10mins or longer just to send a email after you click the send button. she be going by carnival cruise lines.
