Anyone else get Diablo III?

Hit lvl 10 last night before I decided to call it a night, right after killing the SK. Still really enjoying the mechanics of the DH, especially with 2xHand Cross Bows. Rapid Fire is no joke. So far I've only ran solo.. I tend to do that for the first few days as I explore the entire map of the area I'm in. Old habits.. haha On to the fallen sword tonight if I have time.

If you do play coop, it's important you find someone with a character near the same level as you. You also don't want to join someone who is WAY ahead of you as it will spoil the fun and you'll miss a lot.

I have a Monk I've been playing coop with who's up to level 12, and I've been playing with others around level 12 and hosting the game. All of us, however, have other characters.

All my other characters are no more than level 8 and I've played them solo so far. I still need to try a couple of other classes but I think I'll stick to the monk for coop, and either the Demon Hunter or Witch Doctor to play the game through in single player.

ALSO be aware that you can restart any character at an earlier point in the game if you DID have to join someone who was way ahead of you and want to go back and play from where you left off.

No major issues here except some occasional lag glitches.

I have a witch doctor that i basically play as a DPS WOW hunter - 4 zombie dogs, gargantuan, grasping hands and a high DPS blowgun - at LVL 25 my DPS is about 250. Sold a lot of stuff in the auction house to twink him. Basically he's like a chain gun while all the mobs are occupied or rooted. Only died a couple of times so far.

Hey John, I'm a lvl 24 DH and I'm on Belial now.. I am just struggling with him.. My normal tactic on mobs is to trap/snare and run away and unload on them.. But this guy is stationary and has a long reach so it's not really a viable plan.. Was wondering if you had any suggestions... lol

Ego, are you going solo? Once you get up to the higher levels it greatly helps to tag team. I think a group of 4 is a bit unmanageable, but I like playing with one other person.

Best to combine a player with distance attacks with one that can get in close.

I'm still around level 16 with my Witch Doctor, but I'm playing other characters at around level 12. Still haven't decided which one I want to play as my main character.

Ego - not sure how to do Belial with a DH - I was able to do all the bosses in Act 1 by swarming them with meatshields and dps them down - my zombie dogs throw health globes when they die, so that's a big help - since I have tanks, I upped my vitality and lowered my dps for the last part of Act 1. Maybe throw on some leech gear lots of life on your pally? Act 2 is a whole different story - mobs are much harder, throwing lots of elemental damage. I died less than 10 times in normal, must have died 20 times in Act 1 NM. I'm up to lvl 35 and have close to 1k dps but having to play much smarter.

The group runs are fun, basically shooting gallerys, but if the group (of 4) get split up and you get jumped by a group of 20 mobs it's basically bye-bye because they are much stronger.

Got my first legendary - a DH one hand bow.

FP: I'm trying to run this toon completely solo.. I have always had a Diablo toon that I did that with.

John: I thought it was worth a shot asking, but you have some extra defense that I lack.. My DPS seems low though, so I'm going to scout the AH and see what I can find..

I'm at 41 with my WD and did some running yesterday with a 40 monk - we fit really well together. I rolled a monk and got him to 8 in about an hour. lots of fun to play.

Finally beat Belial a couple of nights ago. And the blazed through Act III I'm at lvl 30 now. Azmodan was a chump for a DH. He was def. designed for kiting. I'll probably start on Act IV tonight and see how that goes. The only other class I've played so far is Barbarian. My friend has a WD and they seem to be way over powered. He took down the butcher in 10 seconds lol

I played today with another WD low 40s and it looked like Left for Dead - we each had 4 dogs and a gargantua

My farmville WD is getting harder to play b/c the pets are dying too fast - Act1 NM - the only DPS that really seems to work is blowgun/splinters and I have to do more and more kiting waiting for pets to reset - lvl 42 and my dps ~1200.

edit: Actually I am in Act2 NM - gear does get better faster but I've spent a lot on twink gear in the AH - vitality and resists becoming much more important - I haven't really worried about +attack speed, but people are worried that will be nerfed in next real patch.

I just got the game about 3 days ago. I'm at level 12 with the Barbarian class only. Now my question for some help: I can't figure out how to get a better weapon with the Barbarian. I'm currently using a sword rated at 14. My son told me that I can use the Blacksmith improve my sword with the extra items in my inventory, but I can't figure out how to do it.
