Often refered to as Karma. Its as simple as respect, you get what you give
Not legally, a mere technicality. I'm sure you break a few other seemingly minor traffic laws from time to time.but you can not exceed the speed limit to pass
technically speaking if you are speeding by 5, 10 or whatever you are endangering others. The roads are designed at a speed due to sight distance, super elevation in turns, and other factors. Thus if you are speeding you are exceeding the safe design of the road.I've never endangered anyones safety by my driving
these a$$holes really are scarry when your on the road.and then they decide to pop a wheelie to show off. seen that more then once. Those who think they like being "in control" of the road, what do you do with the crotch rockets that race by at over 90mph and go in between cars? Move over to block them, see what happens next?

by any means. Doing that definitely compremises everyones safety, no doubt but I'm quite sure that everyone here occasionally exceeds posted speed limits as I've NEVER been in a car where the driver doesn't, unless the person's 90 yrs old (and that's yet another story).going stupid fast
so your the A-HOLE I want to Bitch at for all those new ROUNDABOUTS that im seeing being installed.RubberDuckie wrote:this thread makes me laugh.

Blah blah blah. The speed limits are there by design based on roadway factors, It is what I do for a living as a professional engineer who designs roadways for a living.
Simple rule ... Speeding is against the law. and that is a fact.
I dont care if you Think you are a kick ass driver who has skills above average. It is still against the law.
following at a 3 second rule is not a suggestion it is simple physics... do your math.
65 in a 55 is against the law and is reckless. End of story.

So, if you're driving 55mph on a perfectly straight section of freeway in a city area with a 50mph speed limit with no other traffic, you're somehow over running the design of that road as compared to the same section of straight freeway (also w/o traffic) as the same freeway becomes more rural? The speed limits are there by design based on roadway factors, It is what I do for a living as a professional engineer who designs roadways for a living.
