Too funny, the OP wants opinions on other auto related forums because he's tired of reading one of their "lifers" Alkemyst (with over 58K posts no less) neverending, gloating threads about his new, used BMW M3 and the sites serious over moderation. So what happens, Alkemyst not only chimes in but two mods first threaten to shut it down, then do shut it down. Typical BS their too.

NEVER!!! I'm always amazed by that sites popularity too, like WHY?
I go there at times when I need some mental punishment, amusement and I'm so glad that I un-registered years ago so that I can't post, otherwise I'd want to get nasty to some of those guys.

Ok, there has been an inrush of "different" users in the garage lately with trolling and subtle attacks getting out of hand. Frankly, I'm tired of reviewing reported posts and fielding countless PM's about certain members. You know who you are so don't play coy and innocent.

This is everyone's ONE warning.... My patience is wearing VERY thin lately....
KNOCK off the trolling and subtle hints, lame posts and other bullcrap or it will end in vacations.

Just to add we have all (the staff) have noticed this issue and have taken note of it... If things continue this way vacations are not the only action that can be taken (you can be banned from the garage permanently)... The garage forum is just that... "the garage" not a playground full of little kids that like to play games its there for people to discuss issues of a mechanical nature or automotive related field... It can be a in a fun nature but not at someone's expense...

I still remember joining that site when I got into PC's in the mid 90's. At that time, Anand was only 13 or 14 and doing hardware reviews. I remember him telling just a few of us that were on his site about his mom upset because his closet was all full of tested hardware LOL.

I left the site because some dipwad stole my handle that I was using when they moved away from the vbb software to a newer version. When I discovered and tried to register, that is when my handle was taken. Some of the old regulars like "Russ" tried to restore it, but the ones in charge would not so I left the site.
