budget pc case

Post by b-man1 »

any recommendations on a smaller/medium sized case? i was thinking of the Antec 300 (i have the 1200 model...it's a monster). i still have my older E8500 parts laying around and might as well put it to use.

If you can do a mATX case, then this is the way to go:

Unfortunately, Newegg doesn't really have any case deals going on right now. Frequently I'll see them have their Rosewill cases go for $20-30 shipped.

Rosewill 1030A or 103A.. Lemme look.. Ahhh, R103A.. I have used over 100 of these and for a cheap case, they're built well and easy to use. I like them..

Actually, if you don't mind a rebate, this is a heck of a deal on a fancy case:

Let me warn ya, never settle for a PSU that comes with a budget case.

thanks all...i should have reported back earlier. i ended up going with the Antec 300 and the Corsair 500W PSU that i posted about in a different thread. one rebate to mail in, so not too bad.

i'll try to get pics up of the case once it's ready.

LOL, I didn't even notice that it had a PSU. Nope, I wouldn't use that PSU unless it was on an old setup for a kid or something.
