AVOID!!!!! Never heard of them, no one on NewEgg is even buying them: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ve&x=0&y=0

Not to mention the cost. $106 plus shipping for a 500Mb 2.5" USB drive?!!! A Toshiba 500Gb drive with a 3 yr warranty is $65 + shipping: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822149187

Even at Staples you can get a 500Gb Verbatim (7 year warranty!) for $80: http://www.staples.com/Verbatim-Acclaim ... uct_857687

Does it have to be a pocket size drive? Desktop size 3.5" USB drives (with power supplies) are even cheaper.

Does you friend have a Sams Club or Costco card? They usually have 500Gb drives for around $70 there AND you get the benefit of a 90 day return policy.
