Are you running win7 or XP?
I'm fixing to change the mem timings.. But I'm at 7.4 now with the rig above.. Something's not right....

I turned the caps off.. Still no significant change.. And I'm seeing FPS drop as low as 30 at times, which is what I expected of my old single card.. But certainly not from a dual card setup lol.. I'm also curious why my 3DMark score was so much lower than some of the others that are running a single card solution.. Meh, I'll figure it out.. So far, this board doesn't seem to like overclocking.. Strange..

I set it to Ultra, which is what it was set at on my 8800GT 512MB card.. It looks the same, but I would expect this thing to max out and stay there when you compare the power of just one of these cards, let alone two, to their predecessor.. Also that I'm now running at 3.4ghz instead of 2.2ghz and 8GB instead of 3GB lol Who knows, maybe I expect too much.. lol But, it does load a hell of a lot faster since it's installed on the SSD

But can it run Crysis?.....LOL sorry I had to ask...j/k
I am just pulling your leg eGo....I am in the same boat, I buy all these new parts and set myself up to be disappointed when I see marginal to no difference from the new rig that sets me back several hundred dollars vs. the still working well old one. Thank goodness for SSD drives. They finally returned the "ooh" factor to PC's. Overclocking has died for me and the regular vidcard upgrade bumps my interest a bit but i think we are seeing the Windows OS becoming more efficient at handling memory and processes so us throwing more memory and cpu clocks at our upgrades are not as necessary to see marginal increases in performance.
Yes, I have to agree.. But hopefully the only upgrades I'll need in the next year or two will be two new video cards haha.. Don't get me wrong, the PC is SMOKIN' FAST.. I'm loving it, but trying to figure out what I need to tweak to get more out of it.. I should probably look for a guide on OCing as I have never OCd an A64 CPU... *grin*

Shouldn't really need to OC the processor for WOW. It's possible that WOW scales "Ultra" to whatever the card can handle, but I haven't used it to know.
Another thing to consider, have you verified Crossfire is enabled? I believe it needs to be enabled in the Catylist Control Center. I don't believe it's automatic (I have only run dual Nvidia cards, which from what I know is a slightly different process).
From what I'm seeing, you should be getting somewhere in the 100fps range with those cards in Wrath of the Lich King. Though, 60 is plenty fine for any game really.

You're right, I don't need to.. It's the abuser in me. I used to love OCing, still love the idea. Just haven't done any in a while. I was thinking the same thing about the FPS.. I'll get it figured out, just gonna take a while. I did change the SSD drive to be running in AHCI instead of IDE mode as FP recommended in his thread about the SSD drive and that made a little difference in my HD performance.

Well, that's different, OC to your hearts content. Doesn't look like there are any professional reviews on the board, so that makes it harder to get professional opinion of it's abilities. However, ASUS has an overclocking software that is pretty automatic, so it doesn't hurt to try it. I've heard both good & bad things about it. The processor should reach 3.8ghz pretty stable though. Others have reached 4.0-4.2ghz. Have fun.
I used the Asus Windows OC software which came installed on my rig. I eventually uninstalled it because I don't need to overclock, and that's one less background app running.
It's very simple to use, and it works on the fly with no rebooting required.

Soooooo... This poor thing has been sitting in my shop for almost 5 months now and seen no use.. Why? No time.. Crazy what a full time job and family can do to you. Would I like to hook it up and play some games? Yah, do I have time? Not really. haha.. I have pretty much just been using my DV7 Laptop since I moved into my own place with my Fiance.. The only game I'm playing right now is Shakes & Fidget. Oh and some FB games.. But they're all games that I can click and go away. I'm getting married in July and I'm thinking about selling this rig to help finance the honeymoon. Going to try to sell it locally first after I get it all cleaned up. Can anybody offer any suggestions on what I should ask for it? Cost $1200 or so to build, but I'm not expecting to get that out of it.
TIA!

That's just plain sad. I know how you feel though. I haven't had time to game in a few weeks now. I've actually already bought new parts for an upcoming rig, but I hope you find a buyer (actually, I hope you get to use it).
