anyone know of a good hardware SATA raid controller for under 100 bucks? theres one on my mother board but its slower than i think it should be. least i think its hardware raid. to set it up i turned it on in the bios connected 2 500gb hard disks then set it to 2 in the boot order cdrom is first then used acronis to clone the old drive to it.

I have been using rocket raid cards (2) and have never had a problem with either of them. One was a EIDE and the one i am using is a SATA. Great cheap cards.
