Inception 5/5

Post by wvjohn »

First movie that has really engaged me in a long time. I read somewhere that it took many years to write. That is understandable, wickedly complex plot, nearly impossible to film. I very rarely see films twice, but this one I probably will.

Thanks for the review. It's on my Netflix list but we may go see it in the theater for the visuals.

We almost went to see this at IMAX Friday night but we wound up going to Blue Man instead. Not sure I could handle this movie in IMAX anyway. In my experience most feature films don't work all that great in IMAX format.

+1 on an excellent movie. saw it last night and loved it. it was good enough to take my mind off of the knees/feet that kept pushing into the back of my seat from the $##$ behind me.

not to take this off topic, but someone had a NEWBORN baby in the theatre as well. not a toddler...a NEWBORN. the kid just kept screaming and crying during the previews, so the parents left before the movie started. it makes you wonder what they were remotely thinking (it was an 8pm movie as well).

back on topic: great movie...story, visuals, everything.

Ditto! Saw it last weekend with the wife. Very original story line and excellent visuals.
