Do you miss the network activity indicator?

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Windows 7 has no network activity indicator. Even Vista had one (but it's disabled by default). This is a network icon in the taskbar that flashes to indicate activity on the network interface(s).

I'm used to using this as an indication whether things are working properly and I dearly miss it.

Well here's a replacement that gives you the classic network activity indicator: http://www.itsamples.com/network-activi ... cator.html
