My New Dream Case

Post by normalicy »

OMG, where to start! Built in external hard drive dock (this is what really caught my eye), cut-out on motherboard tray for easy HSF installation/removal, space behind MoBo tray for wire routing as well as holes to accommodate this, stupid amount of large (140mm) fan mount locations (comes with three 140mm fans pre-installed), fan filters, the top panel is designed for dual 140mm radiators if water cooling is your thing, removable drive cage for space for water cooling parts/huge video cards (it already supports up to 12"), & it's actually reasonably priced (supposed to be about $80). Might be my first case upgrade in years. It's not out yet, but I'm giddy.

IMO, the only things missing are side panel opening via lever action & side window ("may" be released later).

I have the old one. I upgraded from a wave master. I only did it because the wave master had crappy cooling, and i didn't want to risk chipping the paint putting a fan on the side. I liked the wave master build better, but the cooling offered by the 690 is way better and i can live with the slightly crappier build quality. Don't get me wrong, it's still a solid case, and the MK2 looks to be even better then the one i have.
