Not really, if you consider that it's actually feasible. You really could use an inverter, & disassemble the blower down to the bare necessities. Stuff it into the air box & have at it. Even hook up a on off switch, or if you're really keen, an RPM based switch. Have it kick in over 3000rpms.
I still think it's neat even if it's somewhat oddball. Many good things come from stupid stuff like this.

Let's see, I have two turbo Volvos with more HP than that and a 550hp NA 'Stang with a 150HP NOS kit so yeah, trying to make a slow car fast is a waste of time IMO. I've never understood that. Not really, if you consider that it's actually feasible. You really could use an inverter, & disassemble the blower down to the bare necessities. Yeah, but the entire idea behind this is economy HP. Sure, you could do better with a NOS kit, but you'll be putting down several hundred & will have to buy NOS. This can be done for about $100. Would it be pretty? No. Would it stomp a Mustang? No. Would it be fun? Yes. Makes more sense than trying to install a cold air intake or throttle body spacer IMO. Something fun for the person who likes to tinker.
