An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.
What is weird is how the movie started. Seemed like a documentary at first, but it gives background to the plot. The action of the film starts at the last 1/4 of the movie. Some of the technology is amazing, including some weapons that we might see in the next 25 years or so. At the end of the movie, there will more than likely be a sequel. I don't want to say anymore about the movie. I give this flick a 9 our of 10. A must see in the theater.
my brother inlaw and daughter seen it over the weekend and walked out after 1 hr of watching it or so. they made sure they called me to not waste my money on it .also said it wasn't worth the cost of renting the flick for a $1 . my brother inlaw a si-fi film nut and said he hated it . not seen it so can say good or bad myself .
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me.
I have seen a hand full of people say they hated this movie and it was a waste of money. But I've seen oceans of them say it was amazing.. I never go based on reviews.. I go based on "I want to see that movie." That's all that matters.. If I want to see it, I'll go see it, regardless of what others say or think about it.. hehe Hoping to see it on Wednesday.

If you go looking for action, then you'll be disappointed. It's not an action flick. Go to watch GI Joe or Transformers for that. This one's all about the story. Also as noted, any real action (which is unfortunately most of what is suggested in the previews) is in the last 20-30 minutes. It is what it is. It's a documentary about aliens stranded on Earth & one man trying to bridge the gap (rather unsuccesfully at that).
Personally, it's one of the best movies I've seen this summer, but I'm a bit of a critic (my wife acts in genuine movies & I've participated in a number of amature films). It's hard to pull off what they did. I also like the fact that any digital animation was as needed instead of the rule.
Yeah, that's true. I am getting a bit over the whole humans are the reason that this world is bad thing (though it is true in essence). Really gets you down & makes it look like everyone is evil except a very select few.
To me it was very believable about the human race. Having that advanced technology and weapons will make just about any human go into ape $hit. I'm surprised that other governments did not try to steal some of the technology (left out of the movie).
