Don't have it yet. It will be installed on Feb 7th, but talking to several people that have the 10 down and 2 up get download speeds of over 1000kb/s. My brother told me that his wife and 2 daughters were playing on line while he was downloading a huge file at 800kb/s with no degradation in performance on internet gaming.

I hate to say it, but those numbers don't impress me. I get close to that on my regular $42 a month Comcast account (7Mbit down/2Mbit up).

You're not getting anywhere near 10Mbit down.

Could be my cabling. My house has cat3 and that is what I'm using. They simply came in and replaced my old hardware (modem and router) with a wireless router and plugged back in my hardware connections.
According to Verizon speed test, I'm getting 8mbit down and 1.877mbit up. Still a lot faster than what I had before (350kb/s down and 75kb/s up).

I downloaded a RapidShare file (movie divx), and I got my max download: 1.29mb/s.
