Laptop Restore Disc

Post by RaT »

I recently purchased a Toshiba Vista 64-Bit based laptop. I was going to do complete reformat/restore of Vista but I seem to have misplaced the restore disc.

Before dealing with their customer support, do I have to simply call Toshiba Support and request for them to send me a new disc?

That would be the easiest way if you want the restore disc. They may charge you around $5 for shipping at most.

Another option is, as long as you have a legit COA from the sticker on the case, you could download the Vista 64-bit ISO and your serial will work on it. You can download it through MSDN but you need to have a membership. It's also been posted on torrents. Do a search for "MSDN Vista 64".
