Fallout 3

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Holy crap! If you loved Bioshock, this looks like your game.

I just assumed this was going to be a top down game like it's predecessors. It's a first person shooter.

It looks good. I'm actually still playing Oblivion. I hope they tweaked the game engine for Fallout 3. Even on a high end system, Oblivion is a bit jumpy in spots.

Huh, I'm still playing Oblivion too (here & there). I've been working on Shivering Isles for a while.

I've started playing the "Lost Spires" mod. It's very well done.

Oh, jee, thanks. Now that I've already sunk a couple hundred hours into the game, you want me to sink even more. Well, I don't think so. I will download it for safe keeping though :)

Fallout 3 is amazing, I'm loving this game. The atmosphere is incredible. Yeah it doesn't exactly have the same feel as the original two, but that's kinda hard to do since those are 10 years old. What they've done is kept the atmosphere and the basic components of the originals, and remade it to a modern RPG/FPS and it's really cool. GOTY for me...

ya i really could never get into Oblivion or any of the other games, but Fallout 3 is awesome. the atmosphere is just awesome. and the VATS system makes it great for a console to make shooting and aiming alot easier. playing it on the 360 and it's fantastic.
