So I haven't been able to get online in a while. Been ultra busy at work, and the spare system I had, something got loose inside, and shorted out the motherboard.

Got my new system up and running, and I'm already drooling. Side note on the video card, it's definetly dead... tried it again, and I smelled burning. Something was seriously wrong with that card. Luckily, it didn't damage the rest of the system XD

And even better news, I was able to get my old X1900GT running again with a little TLC. One of the capacitors was blown off of it's foundation, so I replaced it, and lo and behold, it works perfectly. XD

The 4850 is on it's way to Newegg for replacement, so I should get the new one end of next week, beginning of the week after.

This freaking system is fast... 4GB of RAM on Win XP 64-bit. Programs open quicker, everything just seems... peppier. Can't wait till I get around to overclocking... much less getting my 4850 o.o
