In that case FP, you might just be able to walk in, pay upfront and have them hand you your degree :P

Spent 3 years in college & swapped majors (big mistake). Ran out of money, then got married, bought a house, had a kid & never looked back. No degree here. Sadly, most of the people that I know who graduated are morons & many of the people I know that didn't are pretty smart. Shame that the system works that way. I used to supervise a ramp at the airport where mostly college grads ended up working to pay off their bills. I even had an engineer from Boeing working under me.

Well, the only reason I am considering it is due to the great reinbursment prog. that the comp. has.

I have no desire to go into debt for this at all :)
Im debt free right now and want to keep it that way.

Spent 2 years going to college (some full time / some part time)and dropped out. Not having a degree has not affected my career. However, my company now requires a 2 year Associates degree or experience to be considered for a Operator's job at the oil refinery where I work.

1 year of college and some night classes. Guess I have a BS in drinking, toking and all around tomfoolery. :) Because of that I graduated from the school of hard knocks. ;)

BS in Economics from Texas A&M, although I'm a software dev now. I always knew that I would be in IT and started in CS. Unfortunately, I had horrible study habits going into college and partied too much my freshman year. Grades reflected this, so I wound up in ECON. ;) Still only took 4 1/2 years to finish.

And I totally agree with what FP said earlier. Unless you are in a highly technical field like engineering, you will use very little of what you learn in college in the Real World (tm). However, employers want to see an ability to dedicate yourself to something and finish the task. There aren't many jobs out there that will earn more than about $50k-60k/yr without a BS. That being said, once you get a few years under your belt, experience is all that matters. ;)

Yet he posesses a PHD in BS.. and likely has a PHD (Post Hole Digger) in his backyard. Also an all around cool guy to hang out with and the best boss I have ever had.

Really do miss the days at the Computer store. Come in.. hungover.. tired.. headache like no other.. and He would slam things and yell at me even louder. That there is a true friend.
