I've a solid all around travel laptop.
It has a license for XP Pro - it's up to you if you want to install it; XP media not included. I'll ship it to you with the latest Ubuntu on it (which it runs very well).

X40 Specs:
Pentium-M 1.2GHz
12" LCD - no visible signs of faulty pixels
1GB
40GB HDD
802.11b/g
Bluetooth
Extended Battery (gets 1:50-2:30 when I used it on Ubuntu using moderate display settings)
~3.2lb

Ultra Base has a combo DVD/CDRW drive in the Ultrabay (this is not a DVD burner).
Has the following:
* Hot/warm docking support
* Built-in stereo speakers
* Parallel, serial, USB, RJ-11, RJ-45, VGA, one PS/2
* Keyboard/mouse port (Requires special cable for splitting connection to use both, part number 54G0441)
* Second battery support (for optional ThinkPad Ultrabay Slim Li-Polymer Battery)
* Ultrabay Slim device support
* 3 USB 2.0 ports

$325shipped?
