Dark Knight

This an absolute must see. Pure adrenaline action scenes, plot twists that will keep you guessing all the way to the end and a Joker so twisted and diabolical that you will pity anyone that gets in his path.

Heath Ledger IMHO played the best Joker we have ever seen! It's a shame he died ;(

thought it was ok in parts, joker was pretty good, but overall a C+, comic book movies shouldn't go into roman polanski/ingmar bergman territory

I saw it today with the wife, and I would rate it as a B+. My only grip was the Joker - he should have laughed more. The times he did was great, but it seemed there was not enough of his laugh.

Batman had a fairly week role IMO compared to the Joker. Heath Ledger played a great evil Joker and was the dominate character, so much so that the movie should have called "The Jokers revenge" or something.
.....and where was Batman's "Batmobile" (not that ATV looking contraption)?

I must be one of the few who didnt care for this movie at all. I did think Ledger's Joker was superbly done but it couldnt save the movie.
Didnt care for Bale's "batman" voice either...sounded like he shoved a corncob down his throat.

I'm pretty much agree with Nick Digilio....

That didn't even look close to any Batmobile nor was it impressive. One rocket blast and it's down for the count.

I'd also agree that his batman voice pretty much sucked.

I think I read some where that they were trying to stick to things that were actually possible and get away from the not so possible/functional designs of the old Batman stuff.. But I could be wrong..

That and you need to remember, developing a good one took time, it wasn't like the more advanced version built itself.
