Latitude D505 lights

Post by beef »

I've got a dell latitude d505 laptop from work, and the number lock, scroll lock and caps lock lights pretty much continously blink on and off. Even if I put the caps lock on, the light doesnt respond and they just keep blinking or stay on. I didn't know if these were warning lights for something else, or if it was just maybe a short somewhere in the board. I would kind of like to find out, as I rely on my computer quite a bit, and if it goes down it would be probably two weeks or so until I could get a new one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Have no fear, the BEEF is here.

Never seen that. You can download the user manual from Dell.
