Cholesterol and Triglycerides

Post by nitro237 »

I went to the Dr. last week and he took my blood. Got the results today, and my cholesterol and triglycerides were too high.

Cholesterol = 228

Triglycerides = 334

I guess I will have to change my eating habits. Cheerios for me :bang

Yea, thats probably a good idea...and a little extra workouts.

I decided to change my life a little too. Now I just get up 30 minutes earlier each day and ride my bike in the basement for 20-25 minutes in the AM and again another 25-40 at night...Now I never worry about what I eat and am loosing weight as well as feeling better.

Ouch ;\ I had my blood tested free a while back and believe it or not I was completely healthy lol None of my levels were anywhere near being too high lol.. I have been thinking about joining a gym though. I'd like to lose about 50lbs or so before August.. That's just a small part of my long term goal.. I just hate doing that crap alone ;\

My wife and I joined anytime fitness, I have been going hardcore lately. I usta eat a lot now my diet consists of alot of nothing. But I feel VERY good, my cardio is crazy because of using an elipticle (sp) machine. And I have been lifting weights....Not to bulk up but just look healthy.
I am very much enjoying it.

Phil just eat oatmeal and cut out taking in alot of salt. That will help you out very much, My dad had to go on a diet like that because of the same problem.

Thing is, I don't put salt on anything and use very little in cooking. But I am probably get lots from processed, fast foods.

Going to the Dr in 10 min's..

New BiPolar Med they told me.. "DON'T CUT OUT THE SALT" Lithium seems to take care of that salt.. I know they are going to do some blood work.. what fun today is going to be..

I am in the boat with ya nitro but worse. Got my lab results and my Triglycerides were 724. Now I have a hand full of pills to take every morning, have to change my eating haits, and lose weight. My bike and I are becoming good friends.
