Micro all-in-one keyboard or LCD (everything inside the LCD) PCs are good for specialized uses like point of sale where you don't want to waste space.

Most people buy disposable computers these days anyhow, so might as well make them small & discreete. I'm kinda suprised that there aren't really any mainstream ones (aside from the imac).

So it has one PCI slot, what the hell can you even get that would fit in there and be useful?

Depends on use. TV card, wireless network card, sound card, etc.
When all else fails, replace the user.
