g skill memory

Post by Invisible Evil »

Anyone use this stuff, it is incredibly priced and reviews are pretty decent, but id like your opinions, this os for my desktop at work I built and Im wanting to put 2 gb in it usually buy corsair stuff, but for the price the GSKILL is tempting.

I'm currently running 2GB (2x1GB) G.Skill DDR2 800 RAM (F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ), and I love it. Best memory I've ever owned, and I've owned Kingston, Micron, PNY, and many others. Mine's OC'ed to 1066, 5-5-5-15 timings. But if I leave it at stock speed, I can easily pull 3-4-4-12 timings, completely stable. In fact, I've been thinking of ordering another pair. Plus, they can take voltage. I upped mine to 2.15v without any problems.

I've used it too, but never had any problems with it. One of my rigs still has 2 gigs of their stuff.
