price on a laptop question.

Post by Invisible Evil »

I am about to purchase my wife a new laptop, and I will have her old one for sale MAYBE. But I am not sure what to list it for.

Its a Dell Inspiron 1000
Celeron 2.0ghz
512mb ddr 333
40 gb hdd
cd/rw DVD combo
15 inch screen.

Decent little laptop and in good shape no dead pixels on screen, I just need to clean it a bit.

LMK wht you think.

Not a whole lot of value, you might be able to stretch $250 out of it just because it is a laptop. In the end, it is only worth as much as someone will pay for it. For example. to me it would be worth nothing, to others something like $200, you know what I mean :)

I remember you couldn't buy a laptop for less than $2000
Now for that much it is a beast of a machine.

One question though, is it just a regular Celeron is it is a Celeron M? That makes a lot of difference.
