Torrent question

I'm using BitLord and I seem to have a problem. One of the torrents I downloaded completely never converted into a normal file. It is still in the .rar file format. How do I convert it manually?

.rar is a 'normal' file. It's an archive, like .zip or .ace. You need a program to extract it, such as 7-Zip http://www.7-zip.org/

I use wordpad, it formats it nicer. And it can properly display all characters.

Never realized there is a program out there to display ascii or text files. Windows comes with notepad. nfo is just an ascii file which can easily be viewed with notepad. Why install something when you already have the tools.

Well, there arer MUCH better text editor apps than Notepad. I've used TextPad for 12 years which is an excellent full-featured text editor specifically designed for programmers.

Notepad can reformat your text which can be a problem. It also supports tabs poorly.
