Mobo bench testing kit

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Basically a couple of switches, LEDs and a small piezo electric speaker you can connect to a mobo you're testing on the bench outside the case. I've pretty much made this myself out of spare parts, and so can you, but if you don't want to solder together something you might want to buy one of these fr $15:

I use a mainboard box or a pizza box. Plus a power supply and wiring out of an old case... ;)

Cool stuff, I already have a similar setup, but sure wish I had thought of it years ago. I get lazy most of the time though & just start things up with a screw driver & hope for the best.
