i think this pc is haunted

its an athlon t bird 1.4 ghz. it just turns on for no reason. runs fine till you shut it off. any ideas?

Probably the PSU. Can't be a short in the power switch or it would also turn itself off randomly.

Is it by any chance an eMachine? Some of the older ones were notorious for using a power supply that would turn itself on whenever it felt like.

its not an emachines but it does have a cheapie psu.

You are certain it doesn't have any of the "Power-on" features enabled correct?
When all else fails, replace the user.

the keyboard power on was on but i disabled it. im gonna try a new psu tomorrow
