Ummm AIW is supported by MCE: http://www.ati.com/products/faqs/windowsxpmcefaq.html#7

Did you install the MCE version of the drivers?

If it was an MCE incompatibility problem you wouldn't have any problems installing the OS. Just MCE wouldn't run.

If you can't install the OS something else is going on. MCE is just WinXP PRo until you run the MCE app.

well, as soon as I took the aiw out and used the onboard it was great. they system has been running for a year with the same setup in XP. I tried different CPU, Memory, CDROM, and CD befor I poped out the aiw and then windows installed great.
