I took it apart for normal cleaning. Put it back together, and it was working fine. But I noticed that something wasn't sticking right. It was acting funny. So I went into the BIOS, and noticed some of my settings were messed up. I tried to reset them, no go. I turned the computer off, set the CMOS Clear jumper, set it back, pressed the power button... nothing... not a damned thing. After troubleshooting, I narrowed it down to the motherboard going south. Go fig. I took the components out, and switched out the motherboards with a spare I had... my PSU went up in smoke... and it took out that motherboard. How wonderful.
Processor tested out OK, so I put it in my last spare Socket A motherboard, with a new PSU... and find out my HD is gone too. So now I have nothing but my AMD K6-2 laptop... damnit all to hell... and I'm dead broke...
