Recomendation please

I need to get myself an IDE 2.5 to IDE 3.5 converter ya know laptop HDD to 3.5HDD.
I purchased one from newegg and it sucks.

Do any of you have one you are having good success with, and if so where did you get it??

There's not even any electronics in them. It's strictly an adapter so if it doesn't work then you just got a defective one.
