RAM, 2 sticks or 1?

Post by d_b »

Are two 512's are better than a 1 Gig stick? I've heard it was and I heard it wasn't. Also heard it didnt matter.

Thanks

It is supposed to be more stable, but depending on the mobo the performance may be better with two sticks vs. 1.. :)

If it's dual channel, yeah, 2 sticks are a no-brainer.
