Guilty as charged. Heck I even got a CC in my wife's name and was going good for a few months. I usually get the mail but one day she got it and saw the bill. She called the CC company and said she had never asked for that card and what was up with the charges. Then I came home....Wasn't pretty.
But wounds have healed.

I'm guilty also. I will order something and tell my wife it's for a client and then when she's not around stick it in my machine.
I think the worst I have done though is build a computer for a friend and when he paid me I did not tell the old lady. So, i've got this money that I really should let her in on but I keep telling her he has not paid me yet. I am planning on spending half of it on her xmas though along with a new burner so it's not that bad is it??????
So, she thinks the friend is a dirtbag but I don't want her to know he paid me cause then she will know how much I'm spending on her xmas. Oh the things we do for love.....and a new burner.....

I am actually pretty lucky as I also have a business I have pretty free reign on what I buy, (my wife is kind of a closet speed freak in the oc'ing sense of the phrase) but I do stay within reason (reasonable being whatever the fastest and best on the market is as soon as it comes out.

Hahaha
, I've done that before but this last upgrade I didn't because I've bought the wife a few items as well so she can't complain. I don't tell her how much the parts cost or what they are, just tell her that "I'm fixin' something" when she asks me why my PC is being taken apart again. I'm never too specific (especially about costs)because she'd never understand. To her, if it turns on and works, why would I be fixing it?

Not usually, no. My wife knows that computers are my hobby and I don't really spend money on anything else so it's no biggy. It's not like I spend a fortune, I'm always looking for a good deal on used parts or a sale at the comp. store.
I just bought a WD 40 gigger and I told her about it, I just said my old one was full and I needed a new one...

seeing I'm a poor college student, I still live at home. Limiting to what I can do...
I always buy things with discreet cause then I would get flack from parents about money and how it doesn't grow on trees.
I also have to go into James Bond mode when buying pr0n dvds. Gotta send it out at the right day so I get it at a certain time in the mail... before good ol mom opens the box up saying "Hmm wonder what this is?" She'll do that too..
