Problems with Spellbound and Firefox.

Post by FlyingPenguin »

I'm using the Spellbound Development version with Firefox 1.5.0.1, and I'm noticing that with "Spell as you type" enabled it starts slowing down Firefox big-time - especially when working on a long post.

I disabled "spell as you type" and it seems to be behaving now.

Anyone else seeing this?

Nevermind. That's not it. I'm still getting very high CPU usage in Firefox. Need to figure out if it's an extension or it just needs a reboot.

Okay, it was Google Safe Browsing. I forgot I'd left it installed on this system. Nice idea, but not if it uses 75% of my CPU.

Good thing you figured it out, as I don't have any problem with the development version.
