I get this error message when I try to open wintv, powerdvd.
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
Please help.

Did this just start happening recently? If so you can try using System Restore to roll the computer back to a restore point PRIOR to the problem occuring. For a variety of technical reasons too long to explain, you want to go back AT LEAST 1 week before the problem happened, not just a day or two.
