You sure the extra 4 pins aren't removable? Many of the 24 pin PSUs I've used allow you to just unclip the extra 4 pins (they come off as a seperate 4 pin molex plug).

You could use a razor saw to cut off the end of the plug with the extra 4 pins. Just make sure you cut off the right end and don't damage any of the wires.

don't know where you are.. but here in Lubbock. and other places I have been.. most computers stores carry the 24 to 20 pin adapters.. and you can find them on the web. check like Antec's site. and I know newegg has them..

or .. saw it off..

infact.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... x=0&Go.y=0

3.75 each.. depending on if you need to go 24-20 or 20-24..

Damn, thats a shame cause I got a brand new thermarltake 420 sitting in the closet and I need a 24 pin for my gaming rig (using 20-24 pin adapter). Use the adapter cause the psu I am using right now is a 520w which works mucho better for my sli. Whats the power rating of the 24 pin psu's you got?
