Docking station ???

I have never used a docking station and am looking for some info.
Docking station I'm looking at. --> here

1: if the laptop is in the DS, will the Lappy screen still work and can the VGA out port on the DS be used for secondary monitor as in MMprojector?

2: It says the DS has 2 PCI slots, what can they be used for? PCI graphics card?

3: how easy is it to install a DVD-RW drive in the DS?

4: are they prone to heating problems? overheating of CPU due to ???

Depending on the revision of the PCI slots, all PCI cards should work, unless they are too new. How much performance you will get out if though, I can not tell you for sure.

Never seen a docking station overheat before, they are usually designed to handle such things.

well it does not madder anymore, since the seller wants $66 US for shipping. have to find something more local.
