Thanks for the offer, but I'm not in a hurry so I'll just hang on till DELL has an other deal in Canada. I'm sure there will be some in January.

yea even if it was an inch bigger it would still be too small.

too small? man it's perfect for me, any bigger and it would be hard to play games on it unless I sat way further back.

i was gonna aask that what is the dell monitor like to play games on? cause most games dont support that resolution so what do they look like stretched onto the monitor?

yes it does... buy you need exrenal software to rotate the image... i dont think it does it on its own... at least my doesent.

No special software required for rotation. Any modern video card (even the cheap onboard Intel video on budget systems) can do rotation. Certainly any gaming video card can do rotation.

I have one client that uses it. He's a pulmunary doctor. Needs to do side-by-side comparisons of chest X-Rays. Uses two 19" LCDs in portrait mode to do his comparisons. Very cool.

I know my ATI 9200 can display in portrait mode, but i'm still not sure if it is capable of correctly displaying the widescreen mode required. 1680x1050
