Dual Monitor Question

Post by RubberDuckie »

I am running dual monitors and would like to have a bakground on one of them. The secondary screen with no background pic. Can this be done in windows (specifically without 3rd party software)?

I have two very different sized monitors and the wallpaper doesnt work with both.

Thanks,

I haven't had a dual set up for a while, but from what I remember, you can't do what you are trying.

:(

Maybe a 3rd party soft. I just used a black colored background

Windows only repeats the same wallpaper on both monitors. You need a 3rd party app like UltraMon. It allows you to setup different wallpapers on each monitor, or use one wallpaper continuously across both monitors.

lots of graphics cards (well, mine does anyway) come with the option for different types of spanns. this might qualify as second party software, lol.
