Dell Power Supply question

Post by wvjohn »

anybody know whether the standard 250w power supply that comes with the 400sc series is standard atx pinout or "mumbai atx" pinout?

one the kids boxes is flat dead - no lights, no nothing - looks like the ps went south - might be related to that power problem though everything else in the house is fine - i have regular atx spares lying around but about 15 mins of googling didn't find anything - of course there is a link on that machine to a good faq on the net......

don't feel like calling mumbai - I can't pronounce dell power supply pinout in Hindi

TIA

Dell has been switching to standard ATX mobos in the past few years, but the only way to be sure is to compare the color codes.
