EDIT: I need to move these out of here ASAP, guys. I'm asking for the first $120 to come along and take EVERYTHING. Hell, make me almost ANY offer and I'll probably take it, I just want to get these into the hands of someone who can use them!
We're clearing out some servers at work, and I've simultaneously got a need for a Mobo and CPU. Fry's this week has an Athlon64 Mobo and CPU combo for $129 (might have been $139, I forget exactly) and I'd love to get it since it's got an AGP slot and I expect to be stuck with AGP graphics for awhile. Due to the huge and heaviness of this deal, this is So Cal only. I can deliver these to you, though.
For the sake of CLARITY: you get BOTH servers, EVERYTHING listed here and my eternal gratitude!
The details:
Server 1:
Compaq Proliant 3000R Rack Mountable (5U)
Dual 600Mhz PIII
1GB PC133 ECC SDRAM
Dual 10/100 Ethernet (3Com 3C905's if I recall correctly)
5x 4.3GB SCSI drives in RAID 5 array
1x 9.1GB SCSI standalone
24x CDROM
Dual redundant hot swap power supplies
Compaq Smart Array controller
Compaq hot swap SCSI drive racks with drives and carriers as above
Little status LED thingy on the front
Running Red Hat Linux 9 (will include CD-R's for the OS installation if you need it)
I've got the books, manuals, SmartStart CD's, etc. This will run Windows just fine, as it's been our Windows 2000 Exchange server (2000, obviously) for quite awhile. The box runs just fine, it was just time to upgrade to Athlon64 based rigs
SERVER 2:
Compaq Proliant 1600R Rack Mountable (3U)
Dual PII 300Mhz
512MB RAM
3x4.3GB SCSI in RAID 5
Dual 10/100 Ethernet (1 integrated, 1 3Com PCI card)
24x CDROM
TRIPLE redundant hot swap power supplies
Compaq Smart Array controller
Compaq hot swap SCSI drive racks with drives and carriers as above
Running Red Hat Linux 9 (will include CD-R's for the OS installation if you need it)
This server runs very well and was a DC until just recently when I built a new Athlon64 based 2003 server. Ran Windows 2000 fine and was also used as a development web server.
Both of these servers certainly have a LOT of life left in them from an educational standpoint or as file servers or what have you. I *believe* the 3000r can be upgraded to PIII 1Ghz, but I'm not 100% certain that's true. I see no reason why not, however.
YOU ALSO GET:
1. HP Deskjet 722C color printer.
2. HP Officejet Model 700 Color Printer with TWO sealed printer cartridges, black and color! The cartridges alone are worth $60!
3. 1 internal IDE Zip 100 drive
4. 1 External SCSI zip drive with SCSI card (hasn't been used in eons
5. 1 used small PC chassis with Mobo and 933Mhz Pentium III CPU. Untested, has floppy.
6. 1 Focus TView MicroXGA display thingy (for PC to TV/project/whatever) still in the box.
7. 1 Knoica FAX 9830 Fax machine. It's a little flaky with the bottom tray, but it does work. Probably just needs some minor maintenance that I don't care to do.
Drop me a note if you've got some interest and let's work something out! Just want to get these out of here and get someone having some USE out of these rather than having them go to some recycler who'll just ebay them for an absurd price.
Bump me if you look please! Email me at jason@uglybabystudios.com and let's get this going!

Here's a pic. No, I won't cover shipping. Hence I prefer a local trade or sale
This stuff altogether has got to be 250 pounds and it's *huge*. Imagine the shipping cost, then email me after you change underwear.
