Batman Begins

Post by UberNeuman »

Batman Begins is great, and if you haven't see it yet, then you should... The new film takes a somewhat more real approach to who Batman is and the world of Gotham. The grounding in reality makes the film that much more enjoyable than the earlier films...

I'd have to say that it is the first Batman film that is about Batman... Can't wait for the next one... :D

Wow! What an excellent film. What great actors in this film:
Christian Bale
Michael Caine
Liam Neeson
Katie Holmes
Rutger Hauer
Morgan Freeman
Excellent choice for Bruce Wayne/Batman in the selection of Christian Bale, who was in the other great film Equilibrium. Great script that actually had an excellent story. Batman did not show up until well into an hour of the movie had pass. My only criticism of the film were the fight sceens. They were too close and at weird angles that it was hard to tell what was going on, but the story line took the film. Out of a 10 rating, I give this excellent film a 9. A must see!!!

It wasn't bad but I wasn't overly impressed with it myself. I found it a bit slow, very little actual Batman, and the fight scenes were that lame shaky cam stuff again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad movie, it's worth seeing if you like Batman/action movies, I just kinda think it's overhyped... I felt the X-Men/Spiderman movies were better.

7/10

I liked the modern look of Gotham City with a little art deco here and there.

I did like the acting, scenery, and overall look of the movie, but I have to agree with Tunis the action was shot way too close!!!

I plan to wait until it's on DVD/Pay per view because to me, there's been too many Batman movies since the original (now 4 since then).

I just got to watch this movie, and I must say it was great. I really liked the story line and such. Was really neat to see the Scarecrow as well.
