I too first learned ASP along with PERL, liking PERL better, but then migrated over to PHP when I saw that the syntax was lke PERL and that variables didn't necessarily have to be "initialized". PHP also has good interaction with MySQL databases which is what I use when I use a database application. I created my own web-based bank account system to keep track of my charges on my check card and whatnot. It uses PHP and a MySQL database. I'm a nerd what can I say.

Ok I searched the FAQs and Comcast doesn't support PHP and/or ASP.

You have enabled the Personal Web Pages service through the online thing Comcast has right?
yes i did

If so then it is a file that is blocking access.

Also, are you using the Online Storage feature
no im not

or the PWP feature? If you are using ftp://upload.comcast.net then that is the Online Storage and not the Personal Web Page feature.

then why does it tell me that it is my home page

me
guess i need a new one...
