Mega, there you go again. Luv that cool xp futuristic look. That progie free? :d Looks far better than the usual bland xp default menu.

darcy, me's just too lazy to delete the icons that are made when installing an app. :D Never stare and me desktop anyway.

Yeah Mega. Tell me that's a regular WinXP theme and doesn't require something to be installed. I MIGHT just enable XP eye candy to use that theme for a while...

All you need is the patch that allows XP to use unsigned custom visual styles. All it does is change the UXTheme.dll.
http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=140707

And the visual style. You may have to register for free. If you don't want to, just do a search for Sentinel B on Google.

*Sorry the one I'm using is Sentinel B.

Apparently I'm doing something wrong? I've run this patcher thing twice and downloaded the Sentinel Theme and it can't find it. I've followed all the trouble shooting guides too with no success. Any ideas?

Did you move the themes to...."C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes"?

Yup, sure did. When I downloaded the Sentinela.zip file it did not include a themes file only a MS Style something or other. I even tried manually replacing the file uxtheme.dll with the one in the downloads. Each time I do, I get a message saying "This isn't the right one, put your CD in to correct it." I cancel that and reboot. So far no luck. I really hope I can get this working because I like a lot of these themes from that site.

What SP?

Also, if you double click on the msstyles file it should open up "Display Properties >> Appearance (tab)".
