Acer Laptops?

Post by Invisible Evil »

Im thinking of buying this laptop from Newegg. com
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductde ... 185&DEPA=3

Seems like a pretty nice deal, but I would add another 256mb ram at least.
I dont know too muck about the graphics on a laptop, I notice that this has the 9000 mobile.

Please let me know what you think!

what greg said....the best deals are a round end of quarter....if you just check gotapex and fwdeals you can see when they are coming around..they've also been running deals on the refurbs which carry the same warranty but are cheaper

I have a Dell 5150 laptop. Built in Firewire, NVidia Go FX video. I can play most games on it no problem except maybe Doom3.

I like Dells. Wait for a deal or look at their refurbs.

Also these guys have some nice lappies at reasonable prices, and you can have it built to your specs. You can even order it without an OS: http://www.ibuypower.com/mall/notebook.asp
