WiFi Resolved.. :)

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

As many of you may know, I was having some issues with WiFi a while back. Well, while Talent was down here we hooked up to his router and I was able to connect to the network just fine. But I was limited on what I could do. He however could not hook up to my router, so we deemed the WiFi portion of my Router DEAD. Well, picked up an 802.11b router from GCS (thanks!) and finally got everything working great. I had a problem with XP managing the connection itself, just wouldn't connect to the net, so I disabled it and let D-Links utility do it and it works great. So I'm on WiFi finally. Will be picking up/getting a wifi G soon and selling/using this one for an AP. :)

Yah, the one I had was only 54G and the cards I have are only 54G which honestly is plenty I don't do nearly as much moving of files as I used to. It's just nice to get rid of some of the cables. lol
