hey guys...thanks for the input. i was asking specifically about the FIC board since i already have it. :)

a friend had one that he gave to me, so i was checking to see if it's a decent board. i don't have any other components for building a pc anyway...so this one will probably just be sold for cheap.

well, i am loving my Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra-939, it has dual gig LAN, a crap load of USB 2.0, AGP 8.0 (don't laugh, lol, i love AGP) it has dual channel 400mhz RAM, up to 4gb, 4 SATA, 2 IDE, 1 Floppy, nForce 3 Ultra chipset, it is nice, my only complain is the mic jack doens't work, allwell, i just went and stole my dads sound blaster from his comp, sinc ehe don't need it, he has onboard audio, thats works fine, lol, but for the record, i liek it and i am runnign a AMD 64 FX-55, with 2gb Corsair twinX ram (4x sticks of 512 PC3200)
